Every scar you worry about, I worry about too. Every minute you spend in front of your mirror, I spend too. Every word you hold back, I hold back too. But then, every time you flaunted those unshaved legs, I did too. Every time you took the mike and screamed your truth, I did too. Every time you held my hand in solidarity, I held it back tighter. Because, I am you. And, for your sake and in turn my sake, I know both of us deserve love, over judgment.

This saree is made of a gorgeous hand-woven silk fabric. Silk is a natural animal-based fiber that has centuries of history. It has always been considered the most regal of fabrics and remains the most festive, alluring fabric in the modern wardrobe as well. The fine weave of this fabric from the weaving communities of West Bengal makes it very malleable, soft, light-weight and a dream to drape. Over 40 artisans and weavers have worked to craft this collection of handloom sarees and the weavers create magic on their looms, as they take 20 days and sometimes 25 days to weave one single saree, and pour their love into the fabric for it to take life in our wardrobe. And, when the fabric takes shape, the characteristic shine of the silk and the comfort of its texture inevitably become a combination that can win hearts over.
